Non sand grout, 2T. Water mix to smooth, then add 1 cup of flat (only) latex paint mix well. Paint will become thicker but 1 cup does go along ways, keep to small batches. Allow about 2 days cure time. Prime by taking a peice of chalk, rubbing it all over surface, then wipe off, ready to use. Enjoy. Regarding this lego table, when I saw the link to the post I thought "Ah! I have one of those!" I re-purposed our train table to be legos. Neither kid is into Thomas anymore, so the trains got packed up, I flipped the board on top (that had the lake and greenery scenes on it) and shelf papered it. Voila! Lego table. I used a foam roller and I did wait the...@Melissa,<br /><br />I used a foam roller and I did wait the three days before priming {after multiple coats of paint}.
