Thank you so much for the kind comments and best of luck with your one room challenge! :) We did not use the roller, but we wish we would have in our lower level as we did have one spot separate (although our bathrooms have been completely fine). Fixing the seperation was a bit of a pain so it may be worth it to find a way to really seal those grooves.

Thanks again!! I've been reading for years and think you do an amazing job and have impeccable style! We are embarking on our first One Room Challenge and right off the bat, hit a problem. We have a new vanity we found on clearance that is slightly smaller than our old one. We discovered that the floor is not tiled under the original vanity. With no money and time in the budget for demoing the existing tile floor and retiling, I remembered this post! This is the perfect solution to our problem!!! Thanks for sharing all your organizing and DIY projects! I can't tell you how many times your posts have inspired me and helped me solve a problem! Sending you big internet hugs this morning!Samanthahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17787893718907837905noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8864666002840991252.post-34298846876850527562015-04-23T14:55:22.962-05:002015-04-23T14:55:22.962-05:00Hi Renee,

However, they do make a brown silicone caulk that you could absolutely use just to be safe. :) Best of luck with your install!

xoxoIHeart Organizinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05084013302005288836noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8864666002840991252.post-36883615940000282872015-04-23T09:00:40.102-05:002015-04-23T09:00:40.102-05:00Hi Jen

Anyways I was reading about the install and how your hubby cut a slit so he could slide the flooring around the toilet hook up. Did he do anything to seal the cut after install to insure water wouldn't get in if there was ever and issue with the toilet or messes from the boys(I have two boys not counting hubby ;) so I know how it is ) ? I posted on your Facebook page as well and I also sent an email. Wasn't sure the best way to reach you. So ignore those if you reply here first 😉I am installing the floors today and hope to finish up the bathroom remodel by next week. I'm adding board and batten in the bathroom as well since everything is removed. Thanks so much for the inspiration and empowerment your blog gives me.

Renee in MichiganRenee in Michigannoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8864666002840991252.post-74447101879071110082014-05-20T23:31:10.317-05:002014-05-20T23:31:10.317-05:00Yep! Our one issue with our floors in the basement, they are SO cold! How are yours with the cold concrete under? We do have wiring pulled for putting in floor heat in the bathroom... wanting to put some sort of tile on the floor in there. But the family room is where we are really debating. Thanks for the tip on where to find the contact paper. Will be heading to Woodbury this weekend. ;)Michellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08895535159666065770noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8864666002840991252.post-61766424031854784902013-08-13T09:15:37.575-05:002013-08-13T09:15:37.575-05:00I now know I need a dremel and am already scouring...I now know I need a dremel and am already scouring the shelf liners on Amazon!
