I can absolutely see how that can come ...Hi Emily!<br /><br />I can absolutely see how that can come off as misleading. I actually thought the basket was charming, so I assure you this project was not just for "looks". The basket of wrap in the photo was taken back in May (seen in this post: http://iheartorganizing.blogspot.com/2013/05/studio-progress-major-cabinet-upgrades.html) and only contained a few rolls of wrap and the rest was shelf liner, which come in much smaller and thinner rolls. Between the expansion of my gift wrap and shelf liner, it no longer all fit in the basket, and the bottom of the rolls would snag on the basket and cause tearing. By moving everything to the cabinet, I can now keep the large rolls of gift wrap on the dowels near my other gift wrap supplies and prevent the paper from being damaged. The shelf liner rolls are now stored separate in a drawer (as seen here: http://iheartorganizing.blogspot.com/2013/12/under-stairs-storage-reveal.html)<br /><br />Hope that makes more sense. :) xoxo!!IHeart Organizinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05084013302005288836noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8864666002840991252.post-88713481863277415472013-12-30T07:30:57.651-06:002013-12-30T07:30:57.651-06:00you could also slit an empty toilet paper roll dow...you could also slit an empty toilet paper roll down one side and slide it over the roll to hold the paperbrikhouse2https://www.blogger.com/profile/16131996501023038723noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8864666002840991252.post-23521864691196096432013-12-30T07:29:09.316-06:002013-12-30T07:29:09.316-06:00You should add a shelf right underneath the papers...You should add a shelf right underneath the papers and ribbon that pulls out like a keyboard tray, (but the depth of the other shelves) so you can pull it out and just wrap a present quick right there with all your supplies and then push it back and out of the way when you are done.brikhouse2https://www.blogger.com/profile/16131996501023038723noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8864666002840991252.post-90200910771869787762013-12-29T22:20:42.118-06:002013-12-29T22:20:42.118-06:00Oh my gosh - I am so in love with this!!
