Use a damp rag to wipe down the wall from top to bottom and remove all of the dust you just spent hours of your life creating. Haha. We always check with our original builder, and the wall we removed is not at all load bearing. Also, the header is reinforced from above, vs being held up by the walls. So yes! Depending on how the closet was initially designed, it may be necessary to add additional stability to the header after removing sections of the wall.
