I put a magnetic strip from the container store under my kitchen cabinet and stuck them there out of reach. It was great since my kitchen is tiny tiny tiny.

I got inspiration for my project from a cool little trick I picked up from Real Simple. They had an article on organizing the medicine cabinet and their GENIUS idea of putting the magnetic strip on the door of the cabinet to put tweezers and fingernail clippers made my heart happy. You could definitely use the magnetic paint to do the same with your medicine cabinet!!

(http://www.realsimple.com/home-organizing/organizing/bathroom/medicine-cabinet-organizer-00100000094737/page6.html)Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13468871426726197034noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8864666002840991252.post-80370371028955461552013-08-10T10:38:28.476-05:002013-08-10T10:38:28.476-05:00Once the actual decorating side of things are done...Once the actual decorating side of things are done this is my first Kitchen Organising Mission!! So I ordered the Container store containers, washed and loaded one up with thyme...and it doesn't hold. At all. The container falls right off. :-( So looks like we may be going the tin route and covering up the paint after all. I am always looking for ways to organize my home, and after coming here, I am so happy to realize that I can always do more and better. May I ask you one question? What are those containers called in which you stored your flour and sugar? I am looking for containers, right now I am just storing them in it's original package and it is a headache every time I need those things. I am really looking to buy Click Clack containers which are similar to oxo pop containers, but expensive. Those glass canisters that you had in the previous photo, they are really tight and hit my fingers whenever I tried opening them. Any ideas appreciated.
