Sometimes Things Happen...

...Like waking up at 3:30 a.m. to help your child to the bathroom, only to step out of bed into a large puddle of soaking carpet and scream, "What THE!"

The Joneses will be spending the day doing a lot of this:

Extracting approximately 2 inches of standing water from our entire lower level....

Sometimes things like this happen, and all you can do is look at the positive, which is what we are doing today...  However, our town had a lot of flooding last night, please keep them in your thoughts!

I will be back to my regularly scheduled blogging tomorrow!

  8. oh not :( I hope the carpet is salvagable after all that water - but from what I've seen, even if things don't go well you'll somehow turn it into an opportunity to do something bigger and better for an amazing result.

    Good luck!

  10. So sorry to hear about your flooding! This happened to me on our two week old carpet in our basement. Our hot water heater went out and made such a mess. Get your biggest, most powerful fans on it ASAP. Hang in there!

  11. Hang in there, Jen! I know what a disaster feels like, so you have my empathy, but something positive always comes from it.
