Pantry. Hopefully with all of the chatting about pantries this week, you aren't sick of the word yet. In fact, hopefully it is just the opposite! This week I have been posting about our pantry organizing steps and progress as I take on one of the hottest spots within our kitchen. So, since it is kitchen month, and pantry week, I thought I would stay on theme and feature a series of incredible pantries from around the blogosphere.
Each Wednesday I feature spaces created by YOU. Sure, I turn to my favorite design websites and magazines for inspiration and ideas on a daily basis. But let's face it, many of those photos are designed and staged and not necessarily spaces being used everyday by real people. So as inspiring as they are, and as many amazing tips I have picked up from my favorite shelter magazines, I am always even more impressed and motivated when I see real people making over real spaces.
So, I thought I would bring to you 15 real life pantries, all created by real life bloggers! Each one is incredible and inspiring for different reasons. I luuuurve them all to pieces. In no particular order... be ready to fall in love with a bunch of amazing blogs and... pantries! Ready. Set. GO!
How can you not feel inspired, giddy, excited, motivated, driven, warm, happy, delighted and just gosh darn ecstatic to start digging, purging, painting, corralling, smiling, and organizing after a round-up like that? Ah-Mazing!
Some of my favorite themes from above are the painted interiors, pretty labels, painted shelves, clear storage, bold colors, use of patterns, salvaged and repurosed items, resourcefulness and the amount of creativeness that is oozing out of each photo.
Any new ideas sparked for you?
ATTENTION!! Want to be featured in a Reader Space edition? Have an awesome organizing story to share? I am looking for projects that have made a positive impact to your life. Please submit your story and photos here and I would heart to feature them right here, on the blog!! Photos should be high resolution and unedited. Please include a description of the project, including any costs, inspiration, and how it has changed your life and routine for the better! Oh, and no worries my friends, we will NEVER judge "before" pictures because that just wouldn't be nice! Only love goes on at this blog!
I'm so incredibly jealous of anybody who HAS a pantry. My kitchen is about the size of a shoebox, with a couple of cupboards an a fridge and an oven, I would absolutely love to have a room like this!
ReplyDeleteOne day maybe, eh?

Add me to the jealous group too!
DeleteI had seen some of these before, but I have a few more pins to add now!
Great round-up! Why is it that pantries are so tough to keep organized? Sometimes I feel like a food hoarder, haha! (First world problems, right?)
ReplyDeleteIt looks lovely!!!
ReplyDeleteChalkboard-labels and chalkboard paint are such a great idea. And easy to change in case you reconsider the order after a while.
I'll definitely use these (and all your other) ideas for my pantry: http://www.inhaalslag.com/2013/01/215365-nieuwe-en-handigere-bakjes-in-de.html
Say for yourself: it seriously needs a make-over... Don't you think?

hello,
ReplyDeleteI love what do you do.. I like your blog..
Sorry for my english
You always have great ideas and tips! But I can never get myself to actually do the wonderful things that you inspire me to do! I want just tiny bit of your drive to get things done.
ReplyDeleteLovely pantry spaces! I especially like ideas where you have all reused existing packaging such as glass jars, wooden wine boxes and plastic food containers. I know it looks so much prettier to go out and buy new stuff but there is sooooo much plastic out there in the world already. I would love to see more ideas for recycling packaging etc. Off to tidy up my food cupboard now - it is an old wooden wardrobe which I put shelves in. Thanks for the great ideas!
ReplyDeleteWow these are all amazing!! I don't have a pantry but if I did there are SO many beautiful ideas here!
ReplyDeleteI am ashamed to admit that I am brand new to your lovely blog. like where have I been? Now following your through fb. I love the pantry round up. I seriously need to tackle my own, thanks for the inspirations. Jen-COM

ReplyDeleteAhhh. Thanks sweet girl. Love all of this pantry inspiration. So funny as I just gave mine some love today as I did the grocery shopping. Always feels good.
ReplyDeleteLove the inspiration...Any tips for those of us with no pantry? I'm in the 3 cupboards and 4 drawers group...
ReplyDeleteSo timely! I just wrote a post on finding a way to store our enormous stock of plasticware! We keep our food in the kitchen and everything else in what we call "the pantry", but all these beautiful pantries make me want to reconsider...

Oh, I love this. I have to clear out my pantry right now because we have to get some renovations done. Now I have ideas for how to make it pretty and organized when I get that space back.
ReplyDeleteI don't have a pantry. I know...the shame....do you have any ideas for regular shelves and drawers?
ReplyDeleteThanks! And I love your blog. It's one of my top 5 blogs. You have great ideas!
Ahhhh, so much great pantry organization. Pinning this for when we tackle our pantry.
ReplyDeleteI'm loving all of these beautiful pantries! I just want to go grab a bunch of matching bins and labels and get working! :) Our pantry is miniscule, but I recently converted part of a nearby closet to additional pantry space, and it's working out great so far! Thanks for all of the pantry eye-candy!
ReplyDelete~Abby =)
I have a huge deep pantry that needs some serious attention,i have two large 3'x3' 1/2" drawers and 3 shelves and the pantry is probably 6' 1/2' tall, and 3'1/2" and a ton of food,I am my mothers daughter, buy when on sale and buy lots, this are giving me some great ideas THANKS,the biggest challange in the depth of my pantry.
ReplyDeleteThank you for featuring my pantry today in your roundup, what an honor to be among all these other amazing pantries and also to be on your blog!
ReplyDeletethese pantries drive me crazy!!!! how can they be so neat and welcoming and i feel like sleeping in it!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fab round-up - I'm so honored to be included! I'm so inspired by all of the color - I see a painted pantry project coming some time in the near future. ;)
ReplyDeleteWow what a range of pantries you have featured. I am in the process of moving so my pantry is currently topsy Turvey and not about to be re done but when I get new home I will be returning to this posting to get inspiration
ReplyDeleteOh yes -- so inspired!!! These are great...dare I say, 'gorgeous' when talking about a pantry!? Thanks for including mine, lovebug!!
ReplyDeleteSoooooo close to having my pantry organization done! I wish it was done already so I could share. One more shelf to hang and a few more labels to put on tonight.
ReplyDeleteThank you for inspiring me! The pantry was on my list for the 40 bags in 40 days and I tackled it last night after feeling so much energy from your posts! Check out my blog if you'd like to see the before and after pics.
ReplyDeleteFantastic pantries! The first one is my fave! I'm waiting on having a REAL pantry built in my kitchen in the next month or so and I am going to hunt down whatever she used to cover the back of the pantry. Amazing! Thanks for always inspiring me!
ReplyDeleteMake your own chalkboard labels with Avery labels and a can of chalkboard spray paint. I almost bought the expensive Martha Stewart chalk labels at Staples and even looked at Etsy shops before checking out Pinterest for DIY instructions. It couldn't be easier....just did it this week!

Hi, great pantrys. I was trying to click on the link for "Bowl full of lemons". It's not working. Thanks

I, too, loved looking at the pantry photos but can't help but wonder where these people are storing their food? I wouldn't think I am the only one who stockpiles food to save money and what's in those pantries wouldn't last my family of six very long....
ReplyDeleteInspiring indeed! These pantries gave me hope for my own pantry. I admit my pantry now is a little messy and I lack those bog containers they use; wonder where I could buy those. As I view these pantries, they really make a home look organized. I love the pantry with the curtain. I just has enough space for all the things I need as I live alone and don’t really have much stuff to put in the pantry. I just love the organization these pantries can give a home.
ReplyDeleteamazing! these have inspired me as I get ready to remodel a kitchen. I chose this posy as one of My Friday Favorites. Have a great weekend! http://wp.me/p2hp9V-KH
ReplyDeleteSo much awesomeness!! Thanks for including me Jen!!
ReplyDeleteOh, the beauty! I think I'm going to have to pin all of them, because I can't decide which one I like most.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately I don't have a pantry but a room that's called "Hauswirtschaftsraum" over here in good ol' Germany. It's basically a combined laundry room, mud room and pantry. And in our case in desperate need of a makeover. Right now I'm trying to figure out how to get the most function (and beauty!) out of our cute 9 squaremeter room without ripping my hair out. Sigh....
Love this post! Thanks so much! Going to have to get my hand on some of those chalkboard labels! (and Mesh baskets!)
