84 Items IHeart: Martha's Home Office Collection

Oh. My. Greatness.

She has done it again.

The queen of everything "HOME" has created a new line.  Yes, my gal Martha Stewart, not only has craft supplies, home furnishings, bathroom fixtures, kitchen cabinets, pet supplies, bed and bath products and even cookware, has gone and done it again.  And I LOVE love everything she already had to offer, it's all so stinkin' pretty, but she really got my heart smiling this time.

She went and created a whole slew of fantastic office supplies...

And no, I haven't been paid, swayed or perked to write this post.  I am doing it because I personally got giddy excited by this new line.  If I would have designed an office supply line, it would have been just like this.  It's yummy.  In fact I went and checked it out personally and was totally a little kid in a candy store.

Here are some of my favorite things:

  1.  Binders and Accessories
  2. Color Coded Labels
  3. Dividers
  4. Accordion Files
  5. File Folder Labels
  6. Kitchen Labels
  7. Stackable Trays
  8. Sticky Notes
  9. Wall Pockets
  10. Notebooks

I am such a sucker for pretty office supplies, and these absolutely don't disappoint.  It's a large line with anything and everything you could think up.  Chalkboard labels, dry erase labels, folders, notepads, organizers, etc...  And the prices are surprisingly reasonable which is a nice plus {and I just saw there is a 30% off coupon on Staples website to make things even better!}.

So I get crazy happy about labels and organizing supplies... it may make me a bit of a nerd but I am OK with that.  What is the one thing that gets you head over heals excited?  Anyone already snag some of the Martha products and if so, what goodies did you go home with?

  1. I bought a few of the labels with the pretty blue trim and I also bought the tags with the string on them (not sure what those are called). I fell in love with everything. Not sure what I am using them for but I figured I would find something!

  2. OMG. The chalkboard labels are so awesome! Here I was looking for DIY ways for these and she made them so easy... crap. Now I have to pick what all I want to buy :-)

  3. I think some of the stackable trays would be perfect for dealing with The Husband's desk. I wonder if he'd miss the mess.

  4. Thank you so much for the link to the coupon; I'm heading to Staples later today just to look at this line. By the way, there's also a coupon for 40% off in the new issue of Martha Stewart Living magazine. I plan on snagging the colored labels and some tags for scrapbooking. From the spread in the magazine that I saw, I love the idea of the vertical files that fit in a magazine rack. Such a great idea!

  8. Great ideas. The stackable trays would be good for my office.

  9. Ohh where do I start?! I am loving the colors she used. I just started on my own Home Binder thanks to you!! I am still getting it ready, but I need the actual binder and dividers, etc...and this might be the perfect line to go with. I have the newest Martha Stewart Living mag, so I'll have to go find that coupon that Heather mentioned. Also, that stackable tray displayed with jewelry would be perfect for me to keep on my nightstand!

  10. Let me say first, I love your blog! I'm 6 months pregnant and nesting, so it's been a constant source of inspiration for me.

I love the new Martha Stewart line! I literally counted the days until it was all put out and ready at my local store, and I squealed with joy when I saw it all, so pretty and colourful, just waiting for me to take it all home. Luckily for my husband's sanity I didn't take it all home, but I did bring home the wall pocket (to hold miscellaneous papers in our front foyer), the little notebooks (to become a feeding/medical journal for my baby), the chalkboard labels, the kraft paper labels, the whiteboard calendar (we LOVE this, and it is currently living on our fridge door), the file labels (which have changed my life, they've made my filing system so pretty), and my favourite, the sticky divider tabs (#8, which you have listed as post its). These are amazing, and have already been used up on my desktop accordion file and my household binder. You must go out and buy some immediately!

  23. I picked up a wall pocket (#9) just last week for my kitchen...my new fridge is non-magnetic so I desperately needed something to hold my grocery list. This was the perfect solution - I love it!

  24. I just love her stuff! And those wall pockets are making me drool! Thanks for posting Jen! I need to get my butt to the store!

  27. I saw an ad in the back of her latest little food magazine (which I subscribe to but cannot remember the name -- it's fabulous, of course), and I squealed with glee. This is awesome. I, too, love Martha and once again, beauty and practicality come together under her care! Yipppeeee!

  28. i have been reading your blog for several months now and absolutely love it. but lately i have found myself on the same wave length as you, it's crazy. i just did a laundry sorting overhaul somewhat similar to yours. then a couple of days ago you talked about interviewing a professional organizer, which is my dream career that i've been slowly working toward. then today on my lunch i went into staples and found myself sucked into the martha stewart line. i limited my purchases and only bought some of the pretty file folders, BUT i'm sure i'll be back once i get home and find some areas that NEED martha's help!

  29. Thank you sooo much for the heads up on the coupon! I saw Martha's new line a few weeks ago and now I'm going to snatch up some beautiful organizing goodness!:)

  31. I went and saw MS Office products at Staples few weeks ago. Like you im like girl in candy store. I had a hard time what to get because I would love to have all of them!!! I decided to wait a bit because Im in college right now I will graduate on april and start reorganizing my office after graduate so that will give me more idea what to get Martha Stewart office stuff!

    ReplyDelete
  32. eeee thanks for the heads up about the coupon! I'm eyeing the wall pocket in white! LOVE!

  33. I have loved Martha for so long! I worked in advertising in the beauty business for years and actually met her once when she was in Toronto for a speaking engagement (big life moment for me). We used to advertise in Martha Stewart and MS Weddings. Who remembers Martha by Mail? There were such great things there. Sigh ... I have been to Staples three times and stood paralyzed in front of the display. It's all so lovely. I am building a recipe binder for my mom and some of her items were perfect for it. I also bought the chalkboard labels and some kitchen labels to do a complete kitchen organize for my mom. I'll be back to buy more for me when I figure out what I "need". Since we don't have Target in Canada yet, it's nice to have somewhere to get some stylish supplies! Love the Shagreen binders, magazine boxes and storage boxes. Love so many of the labels and the accordion folders … not much I didn’t love.

  34. I've already gotten some chalk board labels! I wanted to buy it all--and had some rewards certificates to spend--but I wanted to take time to think about what I really needed so I didn't create yet another system that doesn't work for me. :)

  35. I agree Jen! I saw these items earlier this week when I went into Staples. I had my girls with me and little time. I thought I was going to lose it seeing all these beautiful products!!! Thanks for the great post and info about the coupon. Take care!

  42. I was in Staples yesterday buying a new paper trimmer and I found the new Martha Stewart line. I was IN LOVE! I didn't get anything at the time but now that I have this great coupon (thanks!) I think i'm going to have to head back over there tomorrow to pick something out!

    ReplyDelete
  43. Yes, went to Staples today after getting the coupon in MSL :) Got the brown magazine holder, the teal vertical folders, folder labels, and a brown hanger that you stick to the wall for your mail. Going to get rid of that kitchen counter clutter once and for all!

  44. I'm a photographer and the thing that excites me the most about this new line is Martha's trademark "blue aqua" because that's one of my business branding colors!

I just have a problem buying things that I don't have a plan for....have an several aqua folders and notebook (Martha S. from Michaels and ntbk from Target) "decorating" my office with nothing in them! :-/

  45. Not to be negative here, but Martha Stewart annoys me. She is (or her image is) just too perfect. I like people who have flaws. I have to admit, though, that these office supplies look fantastic, and I'll probably end up buying some. I'm such a hypocrite. At least I admit to having flaws! :)

    1. Jen, Jen, Jen... don't you remember? Martha Stewart is not perfect, she is a convicted felon. And we all know that felons aren't perfect. So you go right ahead and shop your little heart out with a clear conscience. I'm sure Miss Insider Trading Obstruction of Justice would appreciate your support.

    2. I was gonna say, she is totally not perfect. I am sure it just comes across that way. But she has thousands of people working for her helping her "appear" perfect. I don't strive for perfection, but I do love pretty things and spaces and she definitely gives us the tools and inspiration.

      xoxo!

  51. The chalkboard labels are REALLY difficult to put on items...they just kept bubbling and bubbling! (I've used loads of different brands, so I atleast have an idea on how much difficult there should be) The dry erase stuff is all nice though!

    1. I find the chalkboard labels are not really erasable either. With both my chalk pen and real chalk, when I erased what I had written you could still see it (it marked the surface of the label). A little sad about that. I want them to be erasable and reusable. I may have to order some from Etsy and see if they work better. Any one have a good one to recommend?

      Delete
    2. I haven't tried the chalkboard labels personally but I do have some from Bugaboo gifts that I love: http://www.etsy.com/shop/bugaboo?ref=ss_profile

I just use a damp rag to wipe them clean and it works like a charm.

  53. Eeee!! Pretty Wall Pockets! I love the chalkboard labels too; going to use them when I finally finish our pantry (with the chalk pen that I learned about here.) Here's hoping the full line comes to Canada soon. The Canadian website has the full line, so there is hope!

  62. Heaven help me because I went a little crazy and bought quite a few of her new items when they were first released at Staples! I got the Stack+Fit desk accessories to house my Project Life stuff, and I grabbed the wall file folder the other day with my 30% off coupon. These items are beautifully constructed and highly practical. Oh, and I bought a few of the tabs and post-it notes as well. I can't help myself!!

  63. I'm so glad I wasn't the only one who LOVES office supplies and was giddy when I saw MS new line at Staples :-)

    ReplyDelete
  64. Oh my gosh! This is amazing! You totally just made my weekend! Going to pick up some chalkboard labels on my way home for sure!

    ReplyDelete
  65. Very nice! I bought the binder you have shown above along with paper, dividers, and a zip pocket. I'm going to use it for my home organizing binder - or whatever you call it! I also bought a little red journal and some file labels for the school paperwork file boxes. I brought my coupon but forgot to use it!! I'm hoping that if I return with the receipt and coupon, they'll give me some money back - we'll see.

  66. Jen I too am obsessed with the new Martha Stewart collection, and I love all of your organizing!! I had a quick question, how do you make your rainbow colored text? I love that idea for brightening up some of my labels, but couldn't figure out how!

  68. I specifically went to Staples today to take a look. I also had a $5 off a $20 purchase, so that helped.I wanted one of everything! I selected a couple packs of labels, the chalkboard labels and 2 of the stackable organizers in the beautiful turquois (so many possibilities for those things). I was stoked to buy them until I realized my cupon isn't good until tomorrow :( I will be making another trip this week, with kids in tow if need be!

    1. The $5 off $20 I posted the link to above is good 2/17 - 3/3 and is specifically for Martha's home office line. Says one per customer, so take plenty of kids and distribute a coupon and some cash to each kid ;-)

  69. I went to Staples last night to check out these new items and that store doesn't sell them. :( Another store not too far from me does so I may go tomorrow.

  70. I was in Staples buying some cork for another project last night and stumbled upon the new MS collection. Love!! I resisted buying anything because I'm trying not to buy until/unless I know what I'm going to use it for but I am currently thinking up uses so that I can go buy some of these pretty things! I especially love the thin magnetic whiteboard sheets for the fridge. I have a regular whiteboard on there now but it reminds me of my college dorm and sticks out. Martha's are pretty and functional.

  71. I just bought the kitchen labels over the weekend. I'm hoping Avery will release templates for these soon so I can print over them.

    ReplyDelete
  72. I already bought the chalkboard labels and used them to organize my children's toys and finish a DIY wine bottle art piece. I also bought the binder dividers with 8 tabs that are erase able! Oh and If you subscribe to Living Magazine there is a 40 per cent off coupon too! I
