35 IHeart Organizing Contributors WANTED!

As I have mentioned a few times, summer months are a bit craaazy around our abode.  And as much as I am totally down for digging in the dirt with the boys, camping and traveling, heading to baseball games and tourneys, making forts and gobbling up as much time as possible with the kidlets before that are back at school, I am guessing blog posts about the funny things the boys said, afternoon dance parties and making popsicle stick log cabins isn't on your daily reading agenda.

So, for the first time ever, I thought it would be exciting to bring on some contributors to help fill in throughout the upcoming summer months!

Since IHeart Organizing isn't just an organizing blog, but a DIY blog to boot, all sorts of potential contributor topics are welcome!

  • Are you super organized and looking to share some of your favorite money and time saving tips?
  • Do you love to sew?  How about sharing some tutorials for sewing different types of storage and bins?
  • Are you a craftaholic?  How do you use your crafting skills to beautify your organizing projects?
  • Spray Painters Anonymous member?  Care to share how you use paint to make ordinary storage pieces, extraordinary?
  • Handy with a hammer?  Love to build vs. buy?  DIY storage tutorials would rock!

  • Post frequency will depend on your schedule and the number of applicants, approximately once per month for three months, maybe more.
  • Contributor headshots and profiles will be added to the "My Team" Page and sidebar.
  • This is not a paid gig, but there is a chance to gain exposure and partner up with IHeart Organizing!
  • I am looking for folks who are energetic and passionate about organizing, crafting, DIYing and sharing!  Having a blog is a plus, but not a requirement.  I love being able to offer up variety and a mixture of styles, with an emphasis on going that extra mile to make your project lovely.
  • Some photography knowledge is appreciated.  All photos must either be yours or correctly sourced.
  • Posts should be specific for IHeart Organizing readers and should not be posted on your personal blog {however, feel free to link, tweet and Facebook like crazy about your content!}

Sound like something you would be interested in?   Email me with the subject "CONTRIBUTE" and share a little about yourself, an example of a project you have completed or a link to your blog and why you think you would be great fit for IHeart Organizing!

{Unfortunately, I may not be able to select or respond to everyone.  Contributors will be selected and announced by July 6th, however, depending on interest, there may be room to continue to add after that date}.

Thanks everyone, I look forward to hearing from you!

Maybe stock pile some posts or something. ;) www.babyandthebeanstalk.com is my little biz & www.haglerhappenings.com is my personal blog. I <3 your blog!

  20. Jen, I would love to see guest posts by bloggers who can give us ideas for tackling those older boys' rooms. I'm having trouble wrapping my brain around the transition needed from cutesy boy to hip and cool for a 12yo (but also highly functional and easy for him to maintain once a system is in place!). Can't wait to see the selections! --Rene'

  32. Hi Love the Basket. Do you think the strength of a 10 watt hot glue versus a 20 watt or higher make a difference, in the strength of the glue holding the rope together ? Tammy
