46 Fantastic First: IHeart Giveaway!

**  Attention:  This Giveaway has since ended.  Thanks everyone for participating!!  **

Today is an exciting day my friends!  I have been waiting for this day for a while now, and now that it's here, I don't know how to hold back my excitement!!!

You see, over on my IHeart Organizing Facebook page, I made a little promise. {if you aren't already a fan, head on over and check things out, you will always be notified of post updates and other tidbits of info along the way!}  The promise was a rewarding one, for both you and I!  If I were to get 200 facebook fans, then I would giveaway a little somethin' somethin' right here, on the blog!!  And we did it!  200+ fans!  I can barely believe it really... and to know so many have a desire to streamline and simplify their lives by finding easy DIY ways to get organized... well, that feeling is totally not a describable one.  Just know that my heart gets all a flutter with every comment and email I receive, and y'all keep me motivated to keep on keepin' on with all this blog stuff!  So a HUGE THANK YOU is coming your way, from me!

All of your amazing support and spreading of the word, really melts this gals heart, so much so that I am feeling generous enough to give away the following fun finds:

Yes-indeed!  All three of these items could be yours as part of a gift set individually selected by yours truly.  Starting with item numero uno, a mail sorter:

Aside from the amount of ways this mail caddy could be used, from stylish remote storage, to magazine storage, to media storage, this little guy could do it all, but I also really heart the pattern that it flaunts:

Next is a little somethin' to give your documents a little snug hug, the one office essential item that never gets tired and is always important:

Paperclips!  But not only are these functional, again, they pack a little flair as well!

Last but definitely not least, another multi-tasking product that always can find a place in any organized space:

An uber fantastic multi-media bin, adorning a uber fantastic metal label holder.  Wanna peak inside?

Oh yeah, changeable dividers are tucked inside, making this a great place to tuck away cd's, movies or photos.  Whatever you heart really!  Because soon hopefully this guy along with it's friends the mail sorter and paper clips, will all be YOURS!

And again, of course the pattern it sports on the inside, again gets my heart racing!

So there you have it!  How do you enter to win such fantastic storage solutions?  Well, it's pretty easy really!!  Here are the details:

Prize:  A brand spankin' new fancy pants mail sorter, paperclips and multi-media storage bin.
To Enter:  Comment on this post {or send an email to: iheartorganizing@gmail.com} with your name, email address and as an added bonus, share with me what your biggest organizing hoo-rah {accomplishment} has been thus far!

Only one entry per person is permitted.  It's only fair folks!  There will only be one winner {selected using random.org}, and the giveaway closes 9:00 p.m. central time, Wednesday, April 21st, and will be announced the following Thursday!

Good luck and again, so many grateful thanks to you all for checking in and supporting the blog!  IHeart you all!

  3. Hey Jen! Congrats on 200 fans, and your first giveaway! So exciting! And the prizes are super-sweet, I'm definitely diggin' all of them. My biggest organizing accomplishment has been (thus far - hopefully there are many more in the close future!) organizing our medicine bin. For saftey reasons and for the sake of organization and efficency, it was totally worth it.

    Great giveaway! :)

  6. Wow.... this Giveaway is really a really good one!! Thank you so much for the opportunity.

My biggest organizing so far was the purging of the third bedroom of my house. This was a catch all.. from boxes from my childhood, wedding stuff, magazine, books, and DVD etc... to a place that one day would be a babyroom.

Right know this room is empty (at last!!) so one day I would organized and decorate in a clean slate.

  9. Great giveaway, great blog!

One of my best organizational tips is related to organizing scraps of fabric as I quilt. I place pretty wicker baskets on the floor underneath my sewing table. A I'm cutting fabric and have small strips of leftovers, I cut them into 1 1/2" or 2" strips and toss them in the sorted baskets. Then on a rainy day, I can just grab a basket and make scrappy log cabin squares, all the while being organized.

  10. Curtains are up in my son's room, pics will be on the way. But we just moved and his room was a WHITE blank slate, so no before photos, sorry :-( I love the orange/blue colors and smile every time I walk in there.

After reading your blog, I have copied your weekly cleaning chart (thanks for emailing the format) and incorporated zones which I picked up from flylady.com. No spring cleaning EVER, woohoo!

Also, have you ever seen an organization folder for your home? My sister-in-law bought me one years back and there are sections for each room in the house where you are suppose to put down paint info (walls, ceiling, trim, etc) so that you never have to worry about color matching down the road or guess what ceiling paint you put up and now the whites look different. It also had spots for receipts and manuals for rooms in the home (kitchen-fridge, microwave, dishwasher...flooring- company of installation receipt and/or name of product. And much much more. Just neat things like that. Do you have anything like that so you have a spot for quick reference?

Suggestion for the next give away. A visit from you to organize the winner's home! ;-) I could so use the help right now with all the moving boxes and projects :-P

  11. 200 fans Yeah!!!
Since we just moved I am doing a little organizing to each space. Right now I am moving all my craft stuff, scrapbooking, magazines and gift wrapping into my NEW craft room. I purchased some bright colored storage boxes from Target at only $2.50 a piece! I am so excited to have my own, organized space to work and play.

  12. It's my first visit to your site and I am enjoying it!

My greatest organization accomplishment was introducing a filing system to my husband's office when we got married. I bought lots of file folders and sorted through everything! Next on the list is making the file cabinet itself more attractive.

  13. This is the first time I've visited your site and I'm so excited to catch your first giveaway!

I LOVE organizing and can't stand when things are cluttered. My biggest organization accomplishment was sorting and arranging all my husband's computer paraphernalia.

  15. Love your blog! Such great inspiration :)

My greatest accomplishment so far is my mini mudroom makeover that lets us organize everything from bills to our shoes!

  16. Lucky me - finding your blog while you're hosting a giveaway! :)

My most impressive organizing feat thus far has been moving into our new house - I have to say I did a pretty good job of packing and labeling and then finding and emptying all of the boxes in a somewhat orderly fashion. I am so glad it's over though! Now onto organizing it all in it's new home!

  17. Great Giveaway. Congrats on the big milestone.

  18. You are getting all kinds of good news! Loved your office make-over!

My latest organizing project is my pantry. We live in an older home with no actual pantry so I converted a bookshelf in my mud-room (right off the kitchen) to be a pantry. I love seeing all the cans lined up (although it does remind me a little bit of Sleeping with the Enemy ;)

fingers crossed I get picked for the super cute give away!!

  22. Jen! Congrats on your first giveaway and 200 fans!!!!
My most recent organizing hoorah was making DIY charms for all of my scrapbooks so I know which book goes with which time period. Such a time saver when I need to look up a photo!!!

  23. Hey Jen, I just found you through Young House Love, and I heart your blog! My biggest organizing hoorah was when I finally got all my baking and cake-decorating supplies in order (I bake at least twice a week, so it's a whole lot of supplies). I now have bins and bags and extra shelves, and it's beautiful!

  24. Your new office looks fantastic! My biggest organizing hoorah was my tiny bathroom. I feel so much better when i open my cabinet and everything is in its proper place!

  25. I'm so excited to find another great decorating/organizing blog to read! My biggest hoorah is yet to come: I finally cleared out the third bedroom to make room for a guest bed, but all of the boxes and clutter are in the hallway. I have gone through and gotten rid of about half of it, and am still working on it. I can't wait to have it gone!

  26. I just discovered your blog from YHL and I love it! I am so excited to have something new to read! I love your new office (so jealous by the way)... As an obsessive organizer myself, I think my greatest organizing accomplishment is my closet (where clothes are arranged by type, season, and in order of the color spectrum)

My biggest accomplishment so far was turning my grandparents' random buffet/liquor cabinet into arts and crafts storage for my daughter. The best part is, we can lock it up so her little sister doesn't find the paint! Just found your website.... LOVE it!!!

  34. I just discovered your site today and am so excited to find you!!

My biggest organizing hoo-rah would be my kitchen. It's not very big so every inch counts and to have a place for everything and the excess out is so refreshing. If I could only say the same for my pantry!

  35. Love the Blog! Found you through Young House Love! Congratulations on the feature!!! My best recent organizing accomplishment has been my in-laws basement that needed some TLC, purging and organizing. We can walk in the space now and find what we are looking for. 36. My best recent organizing accomplishment is these ikea inserts for my wardrobe that allow me to separate my intimates.

  37. My biggest organizing accomplishment is the system I have set up to take care of my children's outgrown clothes. Since I give some to friends, sell some and give some to Goodwill, it has been a challenge. BUT! My oldest is 4 and I think I actually have it down.

I'm so pysched I found your blog - linking from YHL, in fact.

  38. Congrats on the 200 fans. I just found you via YHL so now you've got 201 fans!

  41. Hey Jen, Congrats on the YHL feature! It's actually how I found my way to your blog, which I love! I'm excited to try out a couple of your ideas and totally envy your decorating skills!

I'd have to say that my biggest organizing accomplishment this year has been tackling our pet clutter. We've got three rescues- a cat and two crazy dogs. Let's just say that they come with a lot of baggage, so between their meds, toys and treats, we've got lots of clutter to contend with. Keeping it organized and out of their reach is super important, so I feel good about having it organized...now, only if I could keep it this way for a long time... :)

  46. Found you on YHL and have been pouring over your blog for the last day! Love, love, love all of your organization tips and seeing pictures of your home. My biggest problem was our home office and I've finally got it clutter free this past week! It was awful with 2 desks, bookcases, filing cabinets, an old coffee table, and 3 golf bags cluttering it.
