19 Reader Spaces: Office Extravaganza

Day two of the rockin' Reader Space week continues today!

To start us off, Tiffany reminds us we can organize on a budget by using what we already have on hand.  See how she utilized some extra boxes {you can also use cereal boxes}, to make her own decorative magazine files!

She also shows us how to make the cutest clipboards around!

Not to mention she has a great mail station to handle all those paper monsters!

Anna took control of her cords!

Laina gave a trunk an extreme makeover and then used it to store her scrap-booking supplies!  Hello lovely!

And while you are checking out that beauty, how can you not fall in love with the frames that she DIY's for her shop?

Jo-Anna gave a Goodwill find the prettiest of makeovers, and now she can organize her kiddo's school papers in style!

Heather keeps her "To Do's" on track with her adorable DIY dry erase frame checklist!

Angie has a super simple way to manage and track her monthly bills.

Not to mention a card organizing system that is simply divine!

Amanda keeps her magazine stash organized by month!

For those of you who love to hold on to greeting cards, this is the smartest way I have ever seen to do so!

What I wouldn't give to have a great command center like this one:

Kara added some simple wall pockets that she made not only functional, but oooh la la lovely!

Speaking of lovely, Heather created a happy workspace that ultimately lead to a clutter free kitchen!

And Ashley tackled piles and piles of papers {two years worth}, which is such an inspiration to just get it done already!

You all absolutely left me impressed with your beautiful craftiness that allows you to create organizing goodies on such a limited budget!  And tackling papers and offices isn't always easy, but your drive to get it under control and create a system to keep it that way, is beyond inspirational!  Let's get chatty and share your absolute favorite tip for staying organized in the office {or with any types of paperwork}!

I will kick it off again.  Mine is to take 2 minutes every day to sort the incoming mail and instantly recycle all of the envelopes and "junk".  Don't let those paper monsters take over your limited high valued real estate such as counter tops and end tables.

Your turn again!  Ready?  Set?  Go!!

  1. My favorite paper-clutter-tamer is the three hole punched clear plastic sleeve. I LOVE them. I keep a binder with all of the kids important notices (field trips), game schedules, etc. I can quickly and easily find what I am looking for, and purge weekly as needed.

  2. I've tackled my cords, too. I have a great little box from IKEA with adjustable dividers. Each cord has its own labelled section. Works great. Except when I find my husband's Blackberry charger just sitting on too of the box. Grrr...

  3. Thank you so much for featuring my school organizer! What a fabulous surprise!!

  4. Some really great features today Jen...can't wait to check them all out. :)

  5. Those are some fantastic ideas. I'm really enjoying seeing all of the Reader's ideas! :)

  6. I resend my junk mail back to where it came from in the postage paid envelope provided. If it's an offer for a credit card I shred anything that has my name and address on it and the rest of it goes back to whoever sent it to me. It keeps my already overflowing recycling station a little less packed and it helps my mail carrier keep her job!

  7. i was wondering if i should keep the cards i got for my wedding, that would be a great solution!!!

  8. wow! I am loving the nest effect blog! Thank you for introducing me to her :)

  9. awwww i'm digging the greeting card organization!!!! Thanks for another fun round up dahhling! <3

  10. That Goodwill find is gorgeous! I love it!

  11. I have been busy with my family for the last few days and I am just catching up with my blog reading! Thank you so much for sharing my bill binder & greeting card organization with your readers! I am truly thrilled! It must have taken you so long to go thru all of those links full of terrific ideas! Wishing you a wonderful week! Angie xo

  12. I have some serious organising to do as everything gets "dumped" somewhere temporarily and then moved where I can no longer find it!

I do have one tip that I do pretty well though. As soon as a bill comes in the post, I pay it and then file the invoice. This way I don't have to remember what needs to get paid when or organise it to pay to organise it again by filing the paid invoice away.

  13. I liked see jane work on FB....wish there was a love button!

  14. I looooovvvveeee it all! Love the journal covers and magazine holders, and the duck dispenser...no way I could choose one thing!

  15. Wow... Jen, Thank you so much for showing off my command center space. I'm totally honored! You've given me so much inspiration to get my home uber organized!

  16. Boy, there was great inspiration here. Love the eye candy!

  17. I created The Nest Effect's mail station. It's working wonderfully. Thanks so much for sharing!

  18. Not to long ago I came across a slightly different version of the greeting card book. It was such a brilliant idea that I just sat and keep thinking why didn't I think of that?

  19. what a great site! I'm sharing this on my blog today.. Hoping to inspire others!
